During an initial visit to the property at the request of my client, fungal fruiting structures were observed on a number of mature conifer trees on the property. As such a visual tree assessment (VTA) and internal decay testing were recommended. This allowed the magnitude and extent of the internal decay to be quantified. Allowing a scientific assessment of the overall impact on the trunk and buttress roots. The results of which allowed the trees to be retained safely with the aid of crown reduction pruning on two of the three trees.
